Cons (-) I was never able to stay at the hotel. Kayak cancelled my reservations. Lied to me on a recorder line. Told me the hotel was closed down. I called the hotel, spoke with the manager and confirmed they were not closed down. Called Kayak back and let them know i was lied too on a recorded line and requested to speak to a manager. Cons (-) Nothing, they canceled my reservation (the night before) saying the hotel was “over-booked”. They were unable to put me in another hotel. I’m getting a refund. Their customer service rep was very nice and tried to find somewhere else for me, but the whole island was full.
Pros (+) The staff were accommodating and friendly, the views from both the ocean side and land side were nice and the rooms were comfortable.
Cons (-) We were checked into a pet friendly room at first, free upgrade to ocean view. After arriving and taking a nap, we woke up to fleas in the bed. We immediately called the receptionist and packed up, they moved us pretty quickly to another room. Other than that hiccup, we enjoyed our stay there. We just don't recommend taking your pets or yourselves into the pet friendly rooms.
