Pros (+) The upper east side hotel is steps away from coffee shops and boutiques, restaurants are a 20 minute walk away or 5 minutes in a cab. The standard is high, rooms are spacious and clean and the staff are friendly, helpful and have exceptional manners compared to other hotels that I've stayed in. The best thing about this hotel was the European influence.
Cons (-) I didn't like that a simple standard coffee cost $6, which really should've been free in the morning given the price (albeit worth it) of the hotel stay. Two cocktails should not have cost $46, especially when prosecco was used instead of champagne.
Pros (+) The property is vintage upper East Side in design and service. The property appeared to be maintained extremely well and the staff was always attentive. Pros (+) Everyone was extremely helpful and the rooms were large and clean. The hotel is located on a side street, close to shopping but quiet. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Cons (-) The prices in the hotel restaurant were extremely high. A cup of coffee was $10 and yogurt with granola and berries was $27. It was very good but this wasn't room service but actually in the restaurant.
