The Radisson Blu Fargo is located centrally within the city, right across the street from the Fargo Civic Center. It’s also less than a five-minute walk from the historic Fargo Theater, one of the most iconic sights in the city, along with the Fargo Amtrak Station which can connect you to cities like Chicago and Minneapolis.

What’s more, there are countless food stands to try in the food hall, local crafts and gifts to browse in the market and board games to play in the hall’s game room.

Brewhalla Hotel has plenty of other amenities to enjoy, including a gift shop, several restaurants and bars and free Wi-Fi and parking. The guestrooms come with private bathrooms, flat-screen TVs and air conditioning, while some have balconies overlooking the property’s garden and terrace.

Hotel Donaldson is one of the best boutique hotels in Fargo for those looking for something a little different. Located in the heart of the city centre, I love the sophisticated, eclectic décor here.

The historic building has recently been renovated and is full of character. I especially loved the evening turndown service with chocolates, as well as coffee and pastries in the morning, which can be delivered on request. The 17 suites have been designed by regional artists, making this one of the best hotels in Fargo for art lovers.

Be sure to check out the Plains Art Museum, which is a four-minute walk from the property. The museum moved into a 5,000+ square metre warehouse in Fargo from the former post office in Moorhead, Minnesota in 1997 and has been entertaining the public ever since with its contemporary art exhibitions.

This is one of the best hotels in Fargo for location. Set right in the heart of Broadway, the Jasper Hotel also happens to have the finest customer service and is beautifully decorated. The 5-star property has its own on-site fitness centre, as well as air-conditioned rooms, free Wi-Fi, a chic lobby cocktail bar and a top-rated restaurant, the Rosewild.

I dined here during my visit and loved it. The restaurant came highly recommended by the tourism board and I can confirm the food was delicious. The Rosewild is known for its brunch but is also a great spot for dinner. Expect plenty of local ingredients, and vegetarian, kosher and vegan meal options can also be requested.

If you’re travelling in from another state, the nearest airport is the Hector International Airport (FAR), which is conveniently located just four kilometres from the Jasper Hotel.

Home2 Suites by Hilton is just a short walk from Fargo city centre and some of the finest restaurants and shops in the city. Guests can book a studio or one-bedroom suite here, and enjoy a complimentary hot and cold breakfast buffet served every morning.

The suites also offer full kitchens with a dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator if you prefer to cook yourself. Plus, the Home2 Suites is pet-friendly, making this one of the best hotels in Fargo if you want to bring a furry friend.

The most unique amenity here has to be the “Spin2Cycle” room, which is a combo laundry and fitness facility. Workout while you run a load of laundry, or swim a few laps in the indoor saline pool. There’s also a walking trail around the hotel for getting your daily steps in.

The Candlewood Suites Fargo Hotel is right on the North Dakota State University Campus, making it one of the best hotels in Fargo if you’re visiting the university. The property is close to the NDSU Research & Technology Park and the entire NDSU campus, while the Fargodome is only an eight-minute walk away.

Located on the campus of North Dakota State University, this indoor athletic stadium and convention centre hosts most of the city’s top concerts, conferences and events – so this is definitely one of the best hotels in Fargo if you're in town for an event at the Fargodome.

The C’mon Inn & Suites in Fargo is located near the West Acres Mall, the largest mall in North Dakota. It has several court areas, all of which feature a selection of restaurants ranging from fast food chains to high-class, dine-in options.

I loved exploring the mall's many retail stores and entertainment options. You can catch a movie at the cinema here during your trip to Fargo, or even bring little ones to the aquarium.

The hotel itself also offers a bunch of amenities. You’ll find five spa tubs, an indoor pool, a children's pool, a 24-hour fitness centre and a 24-hour business centre on-site. A free breakfast buffet is also provided, in addition to free Wi-Fi and parking for guests.

This Staybridge Suites in Fargo is one of the closest hotels to the Hector International Airport and is near North Dakota State University’s Fargodome. Plus, it’s just a five-minute drive from the sprawling West Acres Mall.

This is one of the best hotels in Fargo for both short visits and extended stays. If you choose to stay more than a few days, you’ll likely appreciate having an apartment-style suite, where you can take advantage of a private kitchen and full-size refrigerator.

This is where you’ll find Fort Noks, a top-rated local bar featuring a patio with picnic tables and cornhole to enjoy on a sunny day. Blarney Stone Pub is also just around the corner. We had dinner here one night and loved their selection of appetizers – don’t leave without trying the wings.

If you’re attending a conference or event in Fargo, the Homewood Suites by Hilton Fargo Hotel is the place to book. This is one of the best hotels in Fargo for access to North Dakota State University, which is located right across the street.

The hotel is also just a five-minute drive from Hector International Airport, and there are complimentary airport shuttles if you don’t want to rent a car. You’ll also find several restaurants located within walking distance of the hotel.

The Homewood Suites by Hilton Fargo has studio suites as well as one and two-bedroom options. There’s also an indoor swimming pool and a fitness centre for working up a sweat. Don’t miss the complimentary breakfast buffet.
